Hey y’all, Ashley here. I’m excited to kick off this new series with Lady Outdoor Lifestyles called Loud in the Wild: Unapologetically Outdoors. This blog was born from the conversations we’ve all had in the truck, around the fire, and in the dark before daylight… the ones hunters whisper to each other because we’re not “supposed” to say them out loud.

Well, we’re saying them now.

This space is for every woman who has ever felt the pull of the field, whether you grew up in camo or just picked up a shotgun last season. We’re keeping it real, unfiltered, and absolutely unapologetic. 

No perfect poses. No curated highlight reels. Just the stuff that actually matters:

• Stories from women who hunt, think, and live boldly — and don’t wait for permission.

• Behind-the-scenes moments that don’t make the feed but shape the journey.

• Gear, prep, and skills explained without ego (because we all start somewhere).

• Conversations the hunting world tends to avoid — and we’re not dancing around them.
